A blank title because I don't know what to title it with...

First off, my apologies for not being up to date with commenting and replying. I'm behind on everything! I will get around to it soon though.

I've been a little bit busy with working on my website and a few other things. I've had it online for a few weeks now but it's just been sitting there doing nothing and I thought it was time to change that. It should be up and running next week if I can devote some more time to it!

I'm going to be even busier within the next couple of weeks if everything goes to plan. My application for housing went in yesterday so I'm now waiting to hear from them with a view of moving out within the next few weeks. It's exciting but I know it won't be easy.

I bought a new sketchbook online today because I can't find a blank one anywhere in my room. I also grabbed a set of these:

They're waterbrushes. Saves the dilemma of having to have access to clean water all the time! I'm not a keen painter or any good at it, but this will come in handy when experimenting.

Hopefully these all arrive within the next day or two :D . In the mean time I'll continue roasting in the hot weather we keep getting!

A quick update

Possible new beginnings

I may be moving in to my first place soon. It's not set in stone yet, but I've been looking at some places and I think I've found the right place for me. There's actually three vacancies in the place I like, so tomorrow the plan is to look at them and I'm hoping they're going to let me choose the best one if I decide I really like it there :) . The one I looked at had four rooms and was very spacious, but there's one next to it with a huge window - and I mean huge - which I would like to see if it's vacant.

Moving in will be a gradual process. I have to redecorate and furnish it and I'd like to know if I can have small pets first. I don't care if it's not decorated to my tastes straight away, I just need the bare essentials to start out with. I think it's going to be very lonely at first and I'm really scared about it, but I'm excited at the same time. My parents say if it doesn't work out I can come home so that's ok. I think it would be silly to let anxieties take over and stop me from taking up this amazing oppurtunity. I'm sure if I didn't try it, I'd regret it.

I've not taken any photos lately or done anything arty unfortunately. I hope to start up an art journal soon that may come in handy documentating my time at a new home, so expect to see something emerge soon :) . I've not been very well in myself lately, so my creative visions seem to have disappeared but they will come back. I have other photos that I should add to this from my old account, but I decided to only add the more recent ones when I made a new account. Maybe later.

I don't want to rabbit on anymore! I need some art to feature, so this will be edited later :D .

I create myself

I bring life

I need to run a virus check on my computer. It did one yesterday but a quick one and I think it's missing something. Firefox went wrong on DA so I switched over to Safari and now I am getting trouble connecting to the site! I need to use Opera a bit more.

I've been quite off and ill for the last few weeks. Now I am going down with a cough. I've got a really bad creativity block and I'm not getting anywhere with my assignments. They said I should just hand it in as it is, but there is nothing to hand in! Half a sketchbook, an unfinished ugly looking mask and an eighth of an uncompleted parasol. If I can overcome this recent bout of illness and my off colour personality I've had lately, I can just slip back into being creative and get somewhere.

I'll get there! Creativity is just around the corner; I know it. I don't know if anyone else finds this, but sometimes after I've been down and ill and lost touch with my art I suddenly "see" the world. I get ideas just from looking outside. Like tonight we were driving into town and it had been raining all day, then suddenly the sun came out and everything was bathed in a golden yellow. This is what inspires me and what helps me "tap" into the creativity I lost. It might take a while to get it back fully but it's coming. I've been dabbling with my graphics tablet over the last couple of weeks and my first digital portrait is on its way.

My dogs have had to have flea killing smelly sticky stuff dripped on their necks. They are not happy about it at all. They scratch and scratch afterwards and yesterday evening I was sure Harry was sulking about it because he ignored me all evening. I think I should have saved the fleas and put them in a flea circus so they could be like Dennis the Menace's dog. Perhaps not. Evil blood sucking fiends.

A message to myself (features)

It might seem silly to feature when your new account is just that, new, but I came across some lovely photographs today. You need to look at these because they're inspirational.

The David Tennant Project

The David Tennant Project is an upcoming fan based project with the aim to create a book that will be sent to David himself. It will feature quotes, stories, opinions and of course fan art (traditional and digital).

At the moment it is in its early stages and needs suggestions and feedback. Unfortunately it is only available on Livejournal for now, but the aim is to move it if it goes anywhere. Essentially anyone can participate whether you're artistic or not. No rules except no creepy weird stuff.

And so it begins

Tick tock tick tock...

A new account! I moved away from my old 2005 account simply because I grew tired of the name and I felt like a change. I am in the process of moving some of my works over from my old account. Anybody who was on my watch list will be added here too :) .

I should be doing college work right now but I've taken a ten minute break from it all. I've got "creativity block" and it seems like I've had it for the past four weeks... :(

Features

This little bit will come soon. I'm not transferring my favourites or collections from my old account to here, so I need to build up a little pile of works first!
